Ever heard about Swiss people getting killed, murdered or being inflicted with terrorist attacks? Chances are that you haven’t and there’s a big fat reason for this which the Swiss govt. would like to keep secretive. You may say how they have such low crime rates without having an actual army!! The answer to this mystery question lies in the YouTube video below.

Shocking isn’t it?! I didn’t know that until 2 years ago in 2008. Many people still don’t know about this fact which I think is absolutely amazing. Imagine, each person in your country is responsible for their own safety having basic army training and guns like the ones mentioned in the video. I mean, if something happens, basically everyone can standup for their own safety; not relying on Police. Although I cannot prove how effective this is but since I rarely hear about attacks or like a murder case from Switzerland, would consider this as much more effective than having police. But many other reasons contribute to the mass killings, onslaughts…for example densely populated areas would be more prone to onslaughts than less populated areas.

I kept my time accordingly and had some fun as well as kept the studying with the flow. Since I have a mac, games for me is almost out of the question. But as I am a very ecstatic I never hesitated to look up things on how to run PC games on Macs. Hence, a little bit of reading, large amount of downloading and 2 days of patience was all it took to get things working. Now I am happy owning up nOObs in Counter Strike.

Hey, its 10:30pm. And its Friday. Regardless of time, I shall share with you what I’ve learned today. This you can call luck or destiny. I was thinking about the fact how little things matter so much in life. My 3 month old Golden Retriever puppy was sleeping peacefully under the “laptop” desk (why just computer desks?!) as my mind struck up with a thought. I was pondering about the fact that isn’t this puppy really lucky to have a family like us. Same goes for us having such a wonderful pooch like him. I am from India, so yea, I now live in Poland and was wondering about the very fact that this dog was destined to be with our family. So was our family destined to be with him. The context seems pretty large as I, myself, got swayed from getting to the end of this mysterious contemplation. Anyways I managed to leash myself to this thought and ventured further into brainstorming.

The idea seems vague I know. But since people are vague, it doesn’t really matter  Anyways, If you think about it, it seems that this little puppy, from within a litter of 5, managed to win my families heart. From a small town in Poland called Busko-Zdroj, he made his way to our home in the large town: Krakow. From living in a small shed outside while its -20*C to our nice and cozy house with the heaters on max! I thought this was pretty amazing how destiny is intertwined and makes us realize things that in this reality of nature.

Lastly, I also thought from the dog’s point of view: “Here are 3 human beings picking me up one by one, patting me. I am scared, wait a minute! They are taking me away from my brothers and sisters!!! Mummy help me!!! “

IF they could speak, we would know. But for now we can only assume. Humans can be unfaithful, but dogs can’t. It’s amazing how this creature forgets everything from the past: his family, his previous place. Then he dedicates his whole life to you. You are his centre in his universe. If he knew about the solar system, you would be the “sun”. They are really wonderfull creatures.

So yea, enough bugging you with ideas and words of wisdom. Time for me to go to bed. Parents are upstairs and i know someone’s gonna soon come downstairs to pull out the internet cable… Till then, this is Kanishk
